About Space Tourism
For some years, we’ve seen that all but a few multimillionaires have had the privilege to spend their holidays at the ISS (International Space Station) through a company called Space Adventures. They have entered history as the first "Space Tourists" and their heroic deed has really been the start of space tourism.
At Galactic Booking, we realize that actually the majority of people think that space tourism is something either for mega-millionaires or just science-fiction; but not to far in the future there will be many companies that will offer commercial space flights at a reasonable price, and thus accessible for a lot of people.
At this moment in time there are several companies working on different projects around the world to turn this big adventure into reality …. the commercialization of space, with a variety of "tourist-packages" - for example: sub orbital flights, galactic hotels, staying at International Space Station, visits to the moon, astronaut programs, etc..
Space tourism operator Virgin Galactic and vehicle developer Scaled Composites unveiled a new design for the SpaceShipTwo (SS2) suborbital spacecraft and its carrier aircraft, White Knight Two (WK2), on Wednesday. January 23, 2008. Here´s the video of SpaceShip2.
In the near future there will be many more projects.
