- Space Adventures

Founded in 1998 Space Adventures has the honour to be the first company and pioneer of Space Tourism. - EADS Astrium

Astrium is a European company subsidiary 100% by EADS and dedicated to supply Space systems and services. On June 13th 2007, they presented a revolutionary vehicle for Space Tourism in an event in Paris. This vehicle has the size of a business jet and has been designed to take four passengers to an altitude of 100 km, entering Space and remaining 3-5 minutes in zero gravity.  -> Read more..


- XCor Aerospace

The Californian Company XCOR AEROSPACE has presented its low-cost suborbital flights program. They project operations will commence in 2010. The ship they will use for these flights is called LYNX and its size is not bigger than a private jet.  -> Read more..


- Spaceports

Even now there exist various projects for spaceports in different countries. Some are already approved, and others being studied for possibilities. One has to realize that before a construction of these characteristics, use and operations can take place there, there is a substantial amount of research carried out to evaluate the possibilities that may involve and/or affect interested companies, governments air authorities, etc..

- Space Parachuting

Another version of Space Tourism consists of jumping from Space with a parachute. It seems to be possible according to the private company Orbital Outfitters (that have been working considerable time on a space outfit) for a human being to return to earth from an altitude of 60km , 90km and even more.
